I wonder if any of you have looked at what you are spending on books and periodicals each year, and how that amount compares to what you spend on telecommunication (such as Alvin, internet access, cell phones). I'm guessing most of us spend much more on telecommunication than books, but it is only a guess. I no longer have a land-line phone, Alvin . ( haven't had this for years; only when the landlord provided), my own internet connection (I use the internet service provided by my work, or I go to I-cafes or cockroach wireless service), so I have more to spend on books. How does your budget look?
